Brett, welcome to the Second Command Podcast. Hey, it's great to be here. Well, you're living in a

good place to do trail running, living in Utah. Absolutely, you know, it's one of my great passions, you know, it's something I've fallen

into relatively later in life.

I used to do a lot of road running and really enjoyed that, but to be able to combine

my love for running with getting outside and

truly being in the mountains on the trails being away from cars sometimes frankly

being away from people it's it's just a great thing it's awesome. I live in I split my time between Vancouver British Columbia and then down in Scottsdale, Arizona and I used to do a lot of trail running up here in BC and and even some of the hikes I would do any of the hikes I was on I would run the

flat sections. Yes. Anybody I was hiking with was just like dude what's the

rush? I'm like there's no rush it's just but it's flat like we may as well run
