She is a lecturer in history at Hillsdale College,

and she is under contract for a book on Rose Wilder Lane

and her cohort of public intellectual women.

Rose Wilder Lane was the daughter of Laura Ingalls Wilder,

and we're going to be talking about both of those women today.

And as a matter of fact, Deidre has not too long ago completed a course for me at Libertyclassroom.com called Little Houses of Liberty, Laura Ingalls Wilder's literary genius.

And people really love it. It's terrific.

And I thought it would also make a good topic of conversation here on the show, especially with a

little bit of controversy that arose a few months ago, let's say, on the general subject of
