And for this week's episode on Righteous Remnant, we're going to be talking about one of possibly the youngest mayors in history, and the elections are going on soon or right now.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, the voting has started.

So his name is Zoran Mamdani, and he would be New York City's first Muslim mayor

if he were to get elected. Yeah, and first openly socialist mayor also, I think.

Oh, okay. Yeah. That's why he's like doing campaigning with, what's his name? The socialist guy. I i mean all the socialists aOC is supporting him

i'm sure burney's burning him yeah those two okay um and he is 33 years old he was born in uganda

and grew up in south africa and then moved to new y. Um, and right now he's an elected assembly member for the Queens.

And so we're just going to go through some of his policies.

Yeah.

And then, yeah, if he were to get elected, what that would imply for the city of New York.

So one of the first policies that he truly believes in is a rent freeze across the city

for at least one year.

Yeah.

So in some versions, proposed rent rollbacks.

Yeah.

So can you explain to us like what that means faster than school?
