Oregon State. He has been the coach of Madrigal.

He was one who signed him as well out of high school,

actually signed him out of, maybe out of eighth grade,

which you're gonna hear in a moment.

But before we talk to Pat Casey,

your thoughts, Viti Duber, on the drafting of Madrigal.

The guy's the best rated position player in the draft, right? You can't be unhappy about that if you're the White Sox or a White Sox fan. I mean, I think you look at a guy who obviously the first thing you notice about him is his height or lack thereof and you think, you know, do we have some issues here? But I mean, the guy's production has been incredible. Banting over 400

coming into draft night. You got to like that. No strikeouts as you keep talking about.

Five and 129 or 228 at bats. You know, he's described as a gold glove caliber

defender at second base. What more can you find to say good about this guy? And you know what?

At number four, the White Sox were probably going to get a really impact player,

and it sounds like they got one.

He had brought up that, you know, the guy that I asked him if there was a guy that had like this Jake Burger effect where you walked in the room and they just

they were won over by his personality and his makeup and he said yes there is somebody and you're
