So for this week, we're going to be talking a little bit about crime and punishment.

Yeah.

And we'll look into the theological side of things, but to begin our episode, I just wanted

to share that in the last five to ten years, crime punishments have generally become less

severe here in the United States.

And so, yeah, let's just start the conversation with why do we think that is, and have we become

too lenient as a nation? Yeah, I mean, I definitely think so. And, you know, I think the main argument, there's a bunch of arguments, but the main one

is that America has been systemically racist, and because of that, it punishes, you know,

it punishes black people or something like that more than it should or something like that.

And so because we don't want that, we don't want a system that punishes minorities.

I think it's gotten more and more lenient.

Yeah.

Something like that, you know.

Now, the irony of this is that, you know, if you're a gun owner

and you shoot someone in California, it's super dangerous for you. Because that those situations

are various, the government will come after you. Yeah. And that's what I mean. The way that crime
