You do so many things.

Stand up comedy, you've written a book, you are on Star Talk.

Am I missing any of the big ones right there?

No, those are the big ones.

It sounds sexy but it's all quite a hustle.

It's a lot of work.

It is, it's absolutely a lot of work.

If I read this correctly, I think you started out doing, what were you doing before you entered this world were you in banking or something is that what I read

Yes, yes I left college and I got a job job because that's what I thought I was supposed to do and I worked in the corporate

communications department of a bank and it was the absolute worst soul-sucking experience

ever because back then I still believed I had a soul.

But yeah, no, I really, I wasn't the corporate type and nothing like an awful job to tell you

what you shouldn't be doing.

How long did you do that?

I was there for five years.

And so how did you go from that to any of the,

did you just like, I want to start doing stand up,

let me try it?

Well, you know what, I was miserable, a good solid miserable for two years.

And then I realized nobody was going to come in and save me.
