If there is an all-powerful and loving God in this world, why is there so much excruciating pain and unspeakable suffering?

The problem of suffering has haunted me for a very long time.

It was what made me begin to think about religion when I was young,

and it was what led me to question my faith when I was older.

I just kind of want to just summarize the idea of the problem of evil, just itself, okay?

So, and this is gonna be rather simplistic just for time sake,

but the traditional notion of God being omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipenvolent,

or all good, all knowing, and all powerful.

That kind of is the three walls of this issue.

So if there are things in the world that cause suffering or if there's suffering, if there's pain, disease, death,

you know, all of these awful things that humanity has to endure
