Today on the line inquire podcast, Kyle Tucker, Director of College Basketball content at 24-7 Sports College Basketball writer. He's going to join us to break down his thoughts

on Illinois's great retention, what he thinks Illinois will be this year, how they stack up nationally,

and we go across the rest of the country of programs who've done really well so far this

offseason and programs who have not done so well. So it was

great catching up with Kyle Tucker. But before we get to Kyle, I do want to chat a little bit

about this offseason for Illinois basketball. We've broken down the roster retention,

all of that. The transfer portal closes tonight at 11 p.m. Central time. So basically midnight eastern time.

The transfer portal closes. Now in the next day or two, we could hear some of those names that have

submitted their name. The school has to release those within two days. So you could still see some

guys entering quote unquote during the next two days. But

tonight is the last chance for these players to get into the portal. So it could be a very

interesting day. But I think for all intents and purposes, Illinois's offseason is basically

done. We got the announcement from Quentin Coleman that he has signed with the Illini.

So we got that one done.

Stefan Vox still not announced quite yet.

Could just be waiting for the transfer portal to close to make sure everything with Illinois is good there.

But he has been their priority.

He became their top priority in the portal.

He wanted to sign on board real quick.

And Illinois loves his potential as a primary playmaker, shopmaker,

kind of playing that Keaton-Wigler role.

Illinois was supposed to visit with him over the past week.
