What a week for Illinois basketball.

First, David Mirkovich, Thomasov-Evisich, Zvonamir Ivich, and Jake Davis all announced

their returning on Wednesday night. What a day that was. This one right behind it.

Andreiakovich announces he is returning the five from the final four

core are returning at, oh, let's just add another 2026 prospect. Steal the 2026 Mr. Basketball, Xavier

Zenz, out of Wisconsin, away from Ben Jacobson and Utah State, the fifth class of 2026 prospect.

Kyle, Illinois, keeps adding to this roster, keeps adding talents to this program.

It's been a good month and a half here for the Illinois basketball program, Kyle.

To say the least, we sit here April 17th just after 4 o'clock central time,

and Illinois is the best roster in college basketball right now.

And it's pretty clear.

Now, is that going to be the case by the end of the offseason when teams keep batting?

Maybe not, but it's going to be a top five-ish roster.

This is as talented a roster as you're going to find in the country next year.

And just unbelievable off-season to get five guys back from a final four team,

which is pretty unprecedented in this era.

I know you and Isaac Trotter talked about it.

He had the stat that it's only the third time since the free player movement,

the true transfer portal era started that a final four teams bringing back five rotational players.
