before about loss and about grief, but we haven't spoken specifically

about widowhood and what it's like for a woman in her financial life after loss.

Hi Gene. Thank you so much for being here I want to tell everybody a little bit about what happened in your life,

that after 47 years of marriage,

your husband Peter died suddenly on vacation. you had not just lost your husband you lost your

you'd lost your social status in a lot of ways and so you started blogging and it became a book.

Yeah, I call the first blog demoted to lunch because everybody said let me take you to lunch and I said,

wait a minute, what about dinner?

So I got a lot of free dinners out of this.
