Why did I start the show with a clip from the very famous movie,

Fatal Attraction?

Why did I start with that clip?

You may be familiar with the film, you may not be.

But I chose that clip for a reason.

And by the way, in this movie, the character played by Glenn Close,

you cannot get more of an embodiment of a rationality and an unwillingness to accept reality.

So I find that it's super interesting.

But why did I pick this particular clip from the movie?

Well, in this part of the movie, Glenn Close's character is livid. She will not be ignored and she gets right up in

Michael Douglas's face and tells him that I will not be ignored Dan because Dan is

not answering her phone calls and he changed his number and he's avoiding her and he's

doing all of those things and she will have none of that and she makes it perfectly clear.

And it really leads us right into the topic of today's podcast episode.
