Hi, welcome back to the Righteous Remnant. This is Ashley.

And this is Dennis.

Today we're going to be talking about wives submitting to husbands, which is, I think, very

applicable for me, because I just recently got married.

Yeah.

But we're going to start off with reading some scriptures and then seeing if this is even

morally correct and how it affects the rest of society and how we live.

So before we begin, I have the first scriptural reference, which is in Ephesians 5,

verses 21 to 25, and it says, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church,

his body of which he is the Savior.

Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Husbands love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

And then the second passage that we have is from 1 Peter chapter 3, verses 1 to 7, and

it says, wives in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word,

they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,

when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.
