Hey guys, welcome back to another episode of Raise Your Hand Say Yes, if you are caught up, then you know that this week is going to be a continuation of last week's conversation

with Anne Shin, and we pick up literally where we left off talking about Anne's book about what it was like

to have it to have worked on it for so long and then finally have it be live out in the world

and then we get into a conversation kind of about the creative process about the ebbs and

flows that both she and I experience.

And then Anne pretty much blows my mind with a new way of looking at entrepreneurship,

a new way of thinking about security, a new way of looking at day jobs, the safety, quote unquote safety that they might provide.

But before we get into that, I feel like I have to talk about the recent election.

I've been honestly avoiding recording this intro because I haven't really

known how to talk about what's transpired over the last few days and I considered not bringing

it up. I mean, this is definitely not a political podcast in any way. But then I realized

that for me not to address it would be not cool. It would be me hiding behind something,

hiding from something. And that's not what I want and that's not the way I want to show up in our world as

as part of this creative community.

And it's not honestly the example that I want to set for you guys.

So I'm going to share my thoughts about what's happened.

And I'm sharing this for all of us,

no matter what side of the red or blue coin you fall on.
