In fact, my husband often tells me that he thinks that I should be more of a diva and I totally disagree and it's very hard to do but

there's a lot of information out there about this that if women are nice or labeled as nice they're seen as weak or

ineffective and if we choose to be a little more assertive people don't

necessarily like it and it gets very very complicated but

the truth is we really don't have to choose between strength and kindness or

confidence and likeability we can be considerate of others and ourselves and that is

Franhouser's take. She has a new book out. You have probably heard of it because it is getting a whole lot of buzz. It's called

the myth of the nice girl achieving a career you love without becoming a person
