Some people get trend following, they know exactly what it is, and those are fun back and forth conversations.

However, a lot of people that write me start off with the idea that they know what trend

following is, they state this. And then it starts

to leak out in their emails that they don't know what trend following is. They have no idea

what trend following is. And they've got all these bad ideas. They're talking about consolidations,

whatever the hell that means. They're talking about prediction, whatever the hell that means.

But the idea of following along the price is a trend following trader.

They do not know.

Well, let me share with you how I came at this.

Let's go back 20 plus years. Not really an internet to do homework on, so to

speak. And I found it fascinating that there was this group of traders that you could read about

in these performance books. Now, one of these performance books was called the Stark Report.

It was about the size of a mid-sized telephone book from back in the day. So that thick, like two inches thick, maybe three

inches thick. And in that report, they would list the month-by-month performance data of traders.

And these traders would say what style of trading they were.

A lot of trend following traders said they were trend following traders. Other traders would say

something else. But when you compare their performance data to trend following traders,
