I just want people to have access to these areas so they can see them because I'm a true believer that if they can't see them, they won't value them, and they won't want to protect them in the future.

I have a returning guest, Caleb Burns with us today.

And Caleb was on fairly recently at the end of July, episode number 1095.

And at that time, we were talking about the value of guiding, especially in the Cascades.

We were talking about how guiding can really be beneficial to help people get into new sports and into the wilderness in a safe way and an enjoyable way.

But toward the end of that conversation, we touched on something that's near and dear to my heart
