Some cool things happened this weekend that are worth sharing.

So this weekend was get in the firewood weekend.

We pulled a permit to clear some dead wood out of forest land and that helps keep the fire danger down and also we'll heat our house.

And for you who are thinking, oh no, that's not a good thing to burn wood because of carbon.

Well, think about it.

Firewood is carbon neutral.

The carbon it absorbs as it grows is the carbon that it releases as it rots.

And when you burn it, you're not adding any more than was already there.

So at least it's carbon neutral, unlike fossil fuels.
