| 0:00.0 | Hey, welcome back to Monocycle, a podcast by Man Repeller hosted by me, Leandro Medine. |
| 0:08.7 | This episode is brought to you by no one because we don't have any sponsors yet. |
| 0:13.1 | If you'd like to partner with us on MonoCycle, please do that. |
| 0:18.0 | Anyway, this week I'd like to touch upon a little bit of what we spoke about last week |
| 0:22.7 | because I feel like it would be vaguely sociopathic for me to not acknowledge the fact that I cried |
| 0:27.2 | at the end of last week's episode. But I should have you know that I'm feeling a lot better. |
| 0:32.5 | And for better or worse, I think that that has to do a ton with the hormones that I'm taking. |
| 0:39.7 | Also, I've been trying really, really hard and pushing myself really hard to look real good every day. So maybe that's |
| 0:46.8 | part of the reason why I feel kind of better today. But the thing about feeling better is that |
| 0:52.2 | when one thing picks up, and so in this instance, my mood starts to feel a bit better, what happens is other areas of your life start to feel like they're falling apart. |

And things seem to be on track and going really well. And my estrogen levels are still playing this evil trick on me, |
| 1:33.9 | but according to my doctor, my ovaries are looking real large. She asked if I'm experiencing it through my pants and I was like, thank you for acknowledging the fact that none of my pants |
| 1:37.5 | are zipping up on me. I found that really, really thoughtful. But the thing I realized as a result of feeling better about my |
| 1:46.7 | emotional mood is that when one thing seems to be going well, invariably what happens is |
| 1:53.0 | something on the other end of your life starts to feel like it's falling apart. So just last |
| 1:57.7 | week at the end of the week, one of my favorite employees who I adore as a person, |
| 2:01.7 | but also as an employee because she's so loyal and smart and strong, told me that she was leaving |
| 2:07.8 | because of an opportunity at a much bigger company. |
| 2:10.6 | And I'm really proud of her, and it feels really cool that she's going to another company |
| 2:14.2 | and has sort of graduated from Man Repeller after two and a half years of |
| 2:17.5 | working together. But in addition to all that we already have going on at Man Repeller, that is |
| 2:25.3 | hiring multiple new employees, moving into a new office, figuring out who we are, what we are, |
... |
