Today we're going to focus on the 1967 riots in Hong Kong.

That year was one for the Hong Kong history books.

These days walking around the streets of Hong Kong or Kowloon. It's hard to imagine a mere 46 years ago.

Bombs were going off in the streets and Hong Kong people were dumping their

property and were giving up and getting out.

You see, the Cultural Revolution was by now in 1967 at a full and rolling boil.

All the excitement going on in China with the Red Guards, the rallies, the shouting the It didn't stop at the border. The whole thing wafted into Hong Kong as well.

And although the majority of people did not embrace the whole spirit of the cultural revolution,

you couldn't help but notice what was going on.
