The Miami Dolphins situation is an absolute mess that I don't think even Marty Huggins

could have cleaned up.

After seeing that A, you tried to tank without the support of the head coach, and B, you

got caught tampering with Tom Brady.

And now owner Steve Ross just got fined $1.5 million, has to stay away until October,

and you just lost a very coveted first round pick in 2023, and a third round pick in 2024.

So it's not all sunshine and friendship in Miami right now.

But to me, the most egregious of the two by far is tanking, and it's not even close.

Tampering is a misdemeanor at best in my eyes.

And while I understand tanking in theory somewhat, I don't understand how a coaching staff

that spend so much time away from their friends and family, and players who have sacrificed

so much to make it to the NFL, could be put in that position by leadership.

But I do want to tip my cap to Brian Flores for saying no when he was asked to tank.

Now there's a great way to help alleviate this problem.

Just like the NBA did, one of the few things they've got right, you set up a lottery system

for the NFL draft.

Because to me it's one thing to trade away players for picks, or to play young guys to
