It was announced today that to Sean Watson will serve a six-game suspension after he has

settled with all but one of the women who claimed sexual misconduct by the droves.

And it leads me to conclude that the NFL punishment system is absolutely and unequivocally broken.

And the crazy part is either way you look at this, the suspension makes no sense at six

games.

On one hand, Calvin Ridley got a full year suspension for betting on his own team to win.

And Andre Hopkins got the same suspension as Watson for a trace amount of performance

enhancing substance found in his system.

Now Sue Robinson, the retired judge who's kind of in the middle of all this, called Watson's

conduct the most egregious ever reviewed by the NFL.

Now, as I said, to Sean Watson did settle outside of court and I get there are no charges

as of yet, but you decided to suspend him anyway.

So there has to be something that is lost in translation here.

Because if you are going to suspend him, then release what you've found.

Because if there is actually nothing in you suspended him, that's probably even worse.

But for a league that continues to portray itself as the champions of morality and rights,

how can they continually get this so wrong?
