We're super excited for this week's episode.

We touched a little about gentle parenting and also introduce authoritative parenting.

So this episode we're going to be focusing more on the latter.

Authoritative parenting sounds scary.

It does.

Yeah, it sounds like tyrant parenting

actually um it's i actually really like it so i'm just going to go ahead and define it for us

yeah and then we'll compare it to gentle parenting and talk about certain techniques so authoritative

parenting is uh characterized by a balanced approach

where parents set clear and consistent rules while also being responsive to the child's

children's needs and feelings. So there's a lot of discipline, but it comes with a lot of

encouragement, engagement, to ultimately encourage

their children to be independent and have self-control.

All of that sounds really good to me.
