And today we're going to be talking about gentle parenting so gentle parenting

actually it originates mostly because millennials had really harsh parents growing up um and a lot of spanking

a lot of control and abuse.

And so they kind of like, you know, like everything else, it kind of swung to the other side.

And the main characteristics of gentle parenting is to lead discipline through empathy and understanding.

Okay.

So no matter like what age there are, you're trying to understand where your child is coming from.

And you're trying to respect them.

And instead of disciplining them harshly, you want to always offer positive disciplines.

So other options.

What's a positive discipline?

So it'd be like clear boundaries or other options or like explaining reasons behind certain

rules like really trying to like help them understand why you're doing the things you're

doing.

Okay.
