And today we're going to be covering sections 60, 61 and 62.

These revelations are centered around some of the brethren coming home to Ohio out of Jackson County, Missouri.

To give you a little bit of context, it's August, it's hot, it's 1831.

The church is just over a year old.

They've dedicated the land for the city of the central place of Zion.

And the missionaries are going to go back to Ohio and they have some questions.

And they want to know, how should we go back?

What should we do?

Is there some direction that the Lord would like to give us?

And these are some of the core missionaries at the beginning of this dispensation.

So there's so many things going on historically along the river.

And if you've ever wondered what's going on in section 61 with the destroyer writing upon the waters,

because that's a very strange thing, the destroyer writing upon the waters.

Like, who is the destroyer?

It's become tradition in the church to quote section 61 as to why missionaries can't go swimming.

Right.
