0:29.6	Today we'll be telling the story of St. Anthony Zacharia, whose feast is celebrated on July 5th.
0:35.8	Anthony was born in the year 1502 in Rome, Italy to noble parents.
0:41.2	His uncle was the Canon of the Cathedral, so he was baptized the same day he was born.
0:47.2	Because of his noble birth, Anthony was able to receive a great education, and because
0:51.9	of his kind heart and desire to help people, he decided to become a doctor.
0:57.5	Even as a doctor, Anthony cared about the health of his patient's souls, and in addition
1:02.0	to medical care, gives spiritual advice.
1:05.2	He practiced medicine for three years before deciding that God was, in fact, calling him
1:09.4	to the priesthood.
1:11.2	While working in Milan, he founded three religious orders, including one for men, the Barnabites,
1:17.7	one for women, the Angelic Sisters of St. Paul, and one for married people, the Lady of
1:23.4	St. Paul.
1:25.4	Anthony saw the need to reform a society that had slipped away from Christianity, and believed
1:30.3	that the best place to start would be with the clergy and religious.
