0:34.3	St. Kevin was born around the year 498 in the Fort of Whitefound in Ireland.
0:39.6	His name Kevin means of noble birth.
0:42.8	Not much is known about his early life, but some accounts say he was baptized by St.
0:47.2	Cronen of Roskray and was the student of St. Petrac of Cornwall.
0:52.6	After Kevin was ordained, he moved to Glendolo in order to pursue life as a hermit.
0:58.0	Legend states that he was led to his cave by an angel and spent the next seven years

1:05.0	Soon, word of his holiness began to spread and Kevin gained enough followers to found
1:09.6	a seminary in Glendolo.
1:12.1	He spent the remainder of his life watching over the monastery, teaching, praying, and fasting.
1:18.2	It is said that he lived to be 120 years old and died in the year 618.
1:24.2	St. Kevin is one of the patron saints of the archdiocese of Dublin and of Blackbirds.
