Hey everybody, this is Tiffany and I am here for episode number 10 of raise your hands say yes and I am super excited today to be talking with my

good friend Jen Hewitt. Jen is an illustrator and printmaker, pattern designer, textile designer.

She does a lot of really amazing work and we're going to have it all linked in the show notes.

Hi, Tiffany. Thank you.

Yeah, you're so welcome. I'm super excited to talk with you.

And for those of y'all who don't know Jen, she has this really gorgeous

creative life that she lives and she lives in San Francisco. She has a great dog who's all over

our Instagram and she makes these beautiful bags and pouches and napkins of things that she prints

herself. But she also has like, could we call it a secret life?

Like another life where she's an HR consultant.

And that's part of what I wanted to talk with you about today, Jen, was like, paying the bills.

Because I think it's easy to think about, like, I just want to paint all day.

And not very many of us sometimes when we're in that really dreamy phase, think about like,

oh, but how am I going to pay for my internet or how am I going to like feed myself?

So where, like, how did you get to the place where you are now, where you're doing

your art and your HR consulting?

really, really did not like.
