Welcome, everybody, to the first episode ever of Contra Krugman. Boy, have we built this thing up

with anticipation for months and months? I don't know, maybe it's been a year. Who knows,

but here is your podcast to get Paul

Krugman's column refuted every single week. I'm Tom Woods, and I'm with Bob Murphy. Bob,

how are you doing this week? I'm doing great, Tom. I'm really excited about the show.

Me too. I sure hope it doesn't stink. So that's my threshold, dear. The first episode cannot stink.

Well, I can only control my own actions, so the rest of it's on you. That's right. All right, we'll hold you blameless no matter what happens. What we want to do in this episode and don't skip ahead to the next episode or we'll know. But in this

episode, we want to lay out the contours of the show. We want to lay out what it is we're going

to be doing, how we're going to be doing it. We're going to say something about who we are,

by the way, and why we're doing it, because we have had some objections. Why would you elevate this

guy in such a way?

And why don't you ignore him? And aren't you giving him more attention than he deserves and all that?

We're going to take all of this on. And Bob and I are just going to go back and forth talking about our vision for the show.

So let's start off with what is the show going to consist of?

Every single week, and I don't know at this point what day of the week we're going to be releasing the episodes.
