Hey everybody, this is Tiffany Hahn and welcome to episode number one of Raise Your Hand Say Yes, my weekly podcast about the creative adventures of

extraordinary people. I wanted to use this episode to tell the story of where I got the name for this podcast

and what I'm hoping to accomplish with it.

I wanted to let everyone know why I've created this and why I think that these stories are

important to be told.

First, the story behind the name.

So I knew that I wanted to do a podcast for a long time.

I really like interviewing people.

I have these amazing conversations with my creative friends all the time.

And I always think, we should record this.

People need to hear about this.

And I thought about starting an interview series

for my blog called my so-called highly creative life. And what I really wanted to do and what I

still want to do and what I'm hoping to do with this podcast is pull back the curtain on what it means to be highly creative,

what it means to live a creative life, and show behind the scenes of how people are living and what

they're doing and how they're able to step beyond fear in a really real way because I think that I hear all the time people say,

oh, well, I don't have what it takes to be a professional artist or I wish I could start a blog,

but I don't have anything to say. And it's just not true.

What I find is that the only difference between the people who are doing it and the people
