RDO equipment company. I'm Nate Dorsey. I'm an agronomist with RDO equipment company,

and I'm really excited to welcome Brian Lougheed to the show today. Hey, Nate. How's it going today?

Good, Brian. Brian Loheed is a product specialist with R.D. Equip equipment company, so he's really the expert on everything the audio equipment company does and also all the technology from John Deere.

And he's going to talk with us today about John Deere's newest app, HarvestMobile.

So HarvestMobil, it's so new that I really don't know very much about it, so I'm really

looking forward to talking to Brian today to learn more.

But before we get into that, let's talk current events. The biggest agriculture-related news that I can think of comes from this past fall of 2015

when John Deere purchased precision planting from Monsanto Company and the Climate Corporation,

which was huge news. Yeah, I know it was. And, you know, hopefully, as they announce,

it's kind of an acquire, so hopefully that purchase order gets signed here in the

next few days, or within by the first of the year. But no, it should be a big game changer

for everyone. Yeah, I think initially the announcement caught a lot of people off guard, but if you

think about it, it really makes a lot of sense. It really places the strength of John Deere on the

equipment side, and then it forms a direct connection to the climate corporation and their data management and their insight. So I think it will be really

interesting to see how this plays out over the course of the next few years. Obviously, we don't

have a lot of details how everything will look, but I think we'll get a much clearer picture

of everything over the course of the next few months. All right.
