Well, for one thing, the expectations of so many people that the election that occurred yesterday was going to be marred by violence.

people struggling over the result of ongoing arguments about who win what

who won which state none of that's happened in fact this afternoon there was a

very clear phone call, apparently, from Kamala Harris to President-elect Donald J. Trump.

Harris is going to be speaking this afternoon at 4 o'clock Eastern Time.

So we will go to her and what she has to say. It is obviously

a concession speech and that's what it's intended to do. Harris called Trump this afternoon

to concede him personally and she will speak later today. She'll be speaking at Howard University, her alma mater, where

she got her undergraduate degree before going to law school in California at Hastings School

of Law. In any event, Harris was planning to celebrate victory last night on the campus

of Howard University.

She had thousands of people who turned up, who at one point when the returns started coming
