Jason, thank you so much for joining me today on Underserved.

Thanks for having me, Andrew, looking forward to chatting today.

So I believe you're the first guest that grew up in Hawaii. What was that like, like getting an

introduction to technology? Uh, unconventional, I'd say, you know, so obviously we're very far

from the heart of Silicon Valley and the core of technology. A lot of people surf, love to fish,

a lot of hunting, a lot of outdoor stuff. But I always grew up with around a computer. You know,

I'm a millennial, so I was kind of growing up when the internet became a thing and became a big

part of our lives. Maybe not my entire life, we always had a computer, but you know, a lot of my

childhood. And I remember getting, when we first got the internet, I was always on it, you know,

always playing video games and it was just something good to do when you got bored of being on

an island all the time. So it's hard to imagine getting bored there, but you got into an online gaming

community. I did. Yeah. So there's a group of friends that I had that we would play various

different games, a game called Age of Empires, played Warcraft 3 a lot. These are kind of games where

you call real-time strategy games where you build cities and attack other people. And so on.

It was fun. I mean, I know that, you know, people, I talked to people nowadays and they say,

oh, you know, why did you leave Hawaii? But you know, it's, Hawaii is obviously beautiful to

amazing place in terms of opportunity to, I would say grow, to learn, to learn a lot more about

...
