and I started rowing again because the oars were still in place.

There was another raft behind us, and they pull into the paddle raft with six or eight

guides, and I forget, they pull in and into the same eddy.

And they're like, God, that was phenomenal, huge waves.

That was as big as the Grand Canyon.

And yeah, we saw your tube up in the air.

You looked like you came close to flipping.

I said, yeah, it was close.

And my friend who's still spitting out the water goes, was not.

So, Eric, can you take a few minutes and tell our listeners about yourself and your connection to that sport?

Yeah, I got to do kayaking back in 1973, then um started running rivers back then fell in love with running rivers started doing some uh commercial raft trips for several companies back in 77 and most of

that was on the east coast and then came out here to Colorado in 79.

And, of course, it was a great, rafting was a great way to spend the summer being a raft guide.

So I did a little more of that until I started the Boulder Outdoor Outdoor Center.
