We're fallen and a part of that fallen nature of ours

is cowardice, even as children, you know,

we are born as cowards.

And when we're born again, we're given a new nature.

We're being recreated in Christ Jesus on two good works.

Hey everybody, welcome to the American Camp Fire Revival. Rex, my pastor, my friend,

I'm so happy that we're here together and we've got a great fire going tonight. And I just want to ask you, if you have friends and family that are feeling discouraged that need hope,

would you invite them to join us and pray with us?

Because we're going to be doing that together as well as talking about where we find the confidence

to be strong and courageous, to not be afraid, to not be discouraged.

And we're going gonna talk about the secret

to that confidence for courage and bravery.

Rex, you're one of my personal heroes,

along with Dr. Marshall Foster,

and you're both in my new book, Born to be Brave.

And my idea is that God says that cowards will have their part in the lake of fire.

And that when he saved us, he gave us a second birth to be brave. And that new creation aspect of us,

the old man is gone, the new has come. He says, if any man is in Christ, he's a new

creation. And that is a courageous creation, not a timid one, because God has not given us a

spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Exactly. We're fallen, and a part of that

fallen nature of ours is cowardice.

We are typically cowards.
