And today I'm back here with my dad and we're going to give a little recap on what went down here on day four of hunting.

So yesterday we had also a buddy of ours chris to me on the line and uh he

actually ended up hunting with us today as well and um but he was he ended up leaving part way

through the day to head back to closer to where he lives at and um hunt us spot a little bit closer to home.

But today was kind of similar stories that we've seen so far.

Besides, we covered some new country, went down lower again.

How low were we, dad, down below 8,000 feet or were we above that?

So, you know, over the last three or four days here, we went all away from 12,000 feet down to nearly 8,000.

And so we just went around did the same thing we've been

doing running ridges basically bugling down over the ridges and looking for fresh elk sign and

it has not been easy it has not been easy at all we've we've looked like I said, high and low, and we, when we started

going down through the Aspen country, kind of a little bit typical, what you would think of,

when you think of elk hunting is, I think of that, not the nasty, dark timber stuff that

used to hunting here in Colorado. but anyways uh yeah there wasn't

wasn't a whole lot of luck there so and i think we did seven or eight miles this morning was it
