Summary

There is an important difference between "reporters" of culture and "reformers" of culture. While the reporters merely gossip, repeat, and spread culture's problems, reformers are the ones who work toward solutions to those problems. Too many U.S. citizens are reporters, and are doing nothing to improve the state of American culture for future generations, which is why the family of faith needs to step up. Without the transforming power of the gospel, good policies and principles will not be able to create lasting change. In order to be true reformers, we need hearts that have been transformed by the gospel, because on our own, we are slaves to the desires of our sinful hearts. With the Bible as the ultimate source of truth, we must be the ones to convince this crooked culture that it needs change. 1:04.2	groups of people. There are reporters and there are reformers. Reporters report what's going on.
1:13.6	Now, I'm not talking about good journalists who expose the truth and inform and educate us. That is really critical and I'm grateful for
1:19.4	their work. I'm talking about the repeaters. The people who just grabbed the meme, it sends
1:25.6	them into outrage and these are like thumb warriors who just send it on to all of their friends.
1:31.7	Or they post a link based on something that they haven't researched, haven't fact-checked and found out if it's really true or not,
1:39.5	and they just gossip and spread stuff. But they're not really part of the solution.
1:44.5	Reporters.
1:45.5	Then there's reformers.
1:46.6	These are people who don't just repeat the problems.
1:50.1	They work towards solutions.
1:52.2	They're reforming things.
1:54.2	They're fixing.
