Hello, welcome back to the evolution of horror.

It's Mike Munser here, dropping you a little bonus episode because, of course, it is well and truly into the spooky season right now.

We are fast approaching Halloween, and I wanted to remind everybody that we've got a special live

show happening next week for Halloween night, the 31st of October. This year we're going to be in

Oxford, and we're going to be at the beautiful Ultimate Picture Palace in Oxford, and we're going to be

hosting an 80s horror extravaganza. This is going to be such a fun night.

It's basically going to involve an hour-long live show, followed by a mystery 80s movie.

Now, the mystery 80s horror movie is going to be one of five choices. We have selected the five,

and then we have put them all on a mystery wheel. The wheel of misfortune will be spinning

that wheel on the night and one of those movies will be picked. But I can tell you that every

single one of these movies is, well, is an all-timer as far as I'm concerned, is one of the

best horror films of the 1980s. So whatever happens, it's going to be incredible. As part of the live show, me and my

lineup of guests, Matt Draper, Becky Dark, and Jamie Graham, we are going to be returning to the

EOH Hall of Fame. This is something that we did last year on Halloween, and we are going to continue

in that tradition this Halloween. So I'm about to play you last year's

Halloween show. I was joined on stage in London by Rosie Fletcher, Dan Martin and Rees Shearsmith. And we had a

brilliant night with a live audience discussing various different categories, including best slasher,

best monster and best scare, each putting forward a choice and debating and deciding with the audience which picks should go into the EOH Hall of Fame.

This year, as it's an 80s horror night, all of our categories are going to be 80s horror related.

There's also going to be costumes involved.

We're going to be giving away lots of prizes and goodies as well. So it's going to be a really fun night. And then of course we're going to hit the town in Oxford afterwards as well. A big student city. Halloween is a Friday night this year. It's going to be a fun one. So join us. Tickets are selling fast for this. Grab them while you can.
