entrepreneurs would think so as well why is that not necessary here?

You need a business plan for your business.

Okay. But you do not need to bring the business plan to the presentation to the investors

They don't care about nor should you send it to them because if they want it they'll ask you for it

Okay, but the pitch deck the ten slide is what's going to give them the initial understanding where they want to see more.
