An entitled gross couple parked their car in my parking space, claiming that they own that spot and that they could park anywhere they wanted.

And despite the fact that I gave them so many chances to move their car, this couple flipped me the bird, cussed me out, and went on their merry way,

forcing me to not only tow their car, but eventually get them arrested for assault.

Here's what happened.

So I used to live in an apartment down in San

Diego right by where the jetboat races used to be in Mission Bay. I worked as a consultant and flew

home to San Diego on a red eye landing Saturday morning just in time for jetboat festivities.

I was well aware that once I was home, the weekend would be chaotic from all the fans at the jetboat

races and parking in that part of the city is ridiculous, even without the races. Anyways, I pull into my alley, and I'm getting to my assigned space, and in my spot, there's a family spilling out of an overloaded minivan. Boogie boards, a few red wagons, some coolers, some beach chairs and toys, as well as floaties and several kids

are all coming out. I pull up the car and I get out and I walk over to whom I assume is the

dad and I kindly inform him that he was parking in my space and he needed to find another

spot. Well, he immediately at the top of his lungs started shouting in my face. I was here first.

This is my parking space, not yours.

Well, eventually Mrs. Bowling Ball comes over and huffs that they've been looking for almost

an hour for parking. And I just can't come in and demand the space from them. Now, I told them

that it's a sign parking, but they didn't believe me. Now, this is understandable because the poor

overloaded van was parked over a bright red

notice painted on the actual pavement, that this space is only for Unit 19. I told the lovely

couple that they were mistaken and that could they please just move so I can go upstairs

and shower and go to bed. I informed them again and again that they are not from here and that

they were making a huge mistake. For reference,

the van had Arizona plates and this will come into play later on. Well, folks, it didn't end well.
