0:07.4	And after dealing with this awful lady for so long, I decided to maliciously comply and get back at this awful manager in the best way possible.
0:15.2	Here's what happened. So I want to start off by saying that yes, I know I should have been fired for this
0:20.4	and I do not recommend doing this in any service industry job. This happened several for this

0:24.0	This happened several years ago while I was working as a waitress at a chain
0:28.0	restaurant. There was this insane manager,
0:30.0	whom I had to work with on several occasions.
0:33.2	She was young and thought she knew everything.
0:35.6	She was quite trashy and was sleeping with one of the higher-ups who was married,
0:39.7	whose wife also worked at the same restaurant.
0:42.2	But that's a different story for another day.
0:44.2	This manager, let's call her Mindy, that's not her real name,
0:47.2	was always on my butt about everything.
0:49.8	I was one of the few shift leads who knew what they were doing, knew how to make the restaurant
0:53.8	money and had many customers write great reviews and say wonderful things about me.
0:58.4	I knew how to do my job and I knew how to do it well.
1:01.4	Mindy always singled me out for things when things weren't even my fault.
1:05.4	And I would always just take it because it wasn't worth my energy fighting about it.
1:09.6	She was the only person in the whole restaurant that I did not get along with.
1:13.4	And in contrast, I had a great rapport with a bartender, servers, cooks,
1:17.9	back of house staff, and other managers.
