I'll be joined this week by petroleum geologist Art Berman, author and consultant,

Anas Ahaji, and professional crude oil trader Tracy Schu-Kart.

Our topics this week include the Iranian situation, the nuclear threat,

what's going on in markets, the EIA inventory report, which was a massive drawdown this week,

as well as the storm in the Gulf of Mexico.

Art Berman and Anas Ahaji will have contrasting views that so many of you have been requesting,

with respect to a number of issues in the market, and will also discuss extended maintenance season

and security in the streets of Hormuz, something that Iran has now begun to propose charging for.

But first, let's dive right into the EIA inventory data.

Crude oil drawing down an utterly massive 9.5 million barrels.

Now a lot of that was predicted the night before, with EIA's private data report,

which had predicted a slightly smaller drawdown.

Cushing O'Klahoma also drawing down this week 301,000 barrels, gasoline drawing down 1.5 million barrels,

distillates was the only build across the board at plus 3.7 million barrels.

The tape action was an immediate pop-up on the inventory drawdown,

but initially not much follow through.
