0:27.6	of a month it was for our 13 year old twin sons. See that month was their official
0:34.7	right of passage month working in close conjunction with actually a former podcast guest,
0:39.6	my name Tim Corcoran and his twin Eagles wilderness school. Our sons had been preparing for a
0:46.3	right of passage into adolescence for several years. Primarily via immersion, wilderness,
0:51.5	survival training, plant foraging, nature awareness and overall the unique but refreshingly
0:56.7	ancestral approach to discovering how to creatively coexist with the giant magical garden upon which
1:03.2	we humans replaced. The month of May that year culminated in a solo, ego dissolving excursion
1:11.0	into the wilderness followed afterward by a ceremonial cutting of the cord and recognition of
1:15.7	each of them taking one more giant step towards becoming a man who can protect and provide and
1:20.3	survive and and doing so in a spirit of full love and presence with others. Yet on that same walk
1:25.9	with my wife, we simultaneously discussed our observation that because of the boys daily and
1:30.8	constant immersion in an analogue world, jokful of unschooling real life experiences, time in
1:37.2	nature, being with other people, tennis, jiu-jitsu, sauna, breathwork, cold pools and trampoline
1:43.2	parks, they're not very well versed in the ins and outs of the digital world. They don't have a
1:47.7	smartphone, it's not that they're not allowed, they just don't have one, it's never really something
1:52.5	that they've decided that they want to own. If they ever did one on one, they're free to get one.
1:57.8	They don't have a video gaming system, they don't own any virtual reality technology,
2:02.7	though they each own a MacBook for school, they're not really very good at using computers, at
