I know the podcasts have been somewhat hit in this since December when I was diagnosed with

cancer, but we are trying to get back on a somewhat normal schedule and get

one episode out a week. And today's topic is actually similar to last week's topic.

I interviewed with Aaron Lyman, and she was talking about the nature of rest. Now, what she was proposing is a Bible

study for moms because we all, I think, need to hear that message of slowing down and really

looking into creation and seeing how God is there and what he has to teach us about how to live our lives.

And also, if any of you guys have been following me for any length of time, you know that from

day one, I have encouraged moms to slow down and be present with their kids as well.

I've encouraged an unhurried approach to homeschooling, which I honestly believe is the only

way to inspire wonder and curiosity

in our kids and to give them a rich childhood. It's a gift that only we can give our kids,

and it is foundational in growing them into healthy, productive adults. We all know we live in a world

full of technology and screens.
