Today, we revisit our conversation with Yellowjackets co-creators, Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson,

who wanted a chunk of time to pitch the idea for their series, and they pitched it at a lot of places.

Yes, it was sometimes awkward.

I do feel bad for all the people who were not interested in it and had to sit through

our 35-minute pitch.

And those are sometimes heartbreaking because you can kind of tell within the first five minutes

if somebody is interested or not, and you're like, well, I guess we're doing this.
