We are taking a little break, but in the meantime,

I wanted to share one of my favorite seasons with you.

It was with a heavy heart that this week

we heard British scandal favorite Rupert Murdoch

was stepping down.

An illustrious career that spanned generations.

So we thought why not remind you of a chapter

in that career that he definitely doesn't want you to remember?

The story is memorable in so many ways,

a truly bizarre tale of fake news, greed, and duplicity.

It's also memorable in that it's solely responsible

for the loss of our entire German listenership.

We are, of course, revisiting the Hitler diaries.

I won't ruin it, but it's the story of a small time German crook

and a fanatical journalist who fall the entire world

with a collection of crudely forged diaries

by none other than Adolf Hitler.

As their lie ripples outward, many are taken in,

a high profile historian, respected journalists,

and probably the most frequently featured character

on British scandal's bingo card,
