Welcome to a special episode all about St. Francis of Assisi.

This week, we launched our new St. Francis of Assisi plush doll, along with St. Tresil

Desierre.

St. Francis is holding the fluffiest little lamb you ever saw, and we wanted to share

the story behind the inspiration for the stall.

St. Francis is known all around the world as the patron saint of animals.

In fact, you may have taken your pet to a St. Francis pet blessing.

While it turns out that St. Francis had a pet himself, a little lamb.

St. Francis of Assisi, who's feasted to celebrate on October 4, lived during the 12th and 13th

centuries.

St. Francis gave up his inheritance to live a life of material poverty.

He had a very strong devotion to the Eucharist, and so many people were impressed by his devotion

to Christ in his way of life, that he founded four religious orders.
