I'm here with Matt Hodgeberg, and this is episode number 555-55 of the Railroad Blog podcast.

I recently got off Railroad Caribbean's Enchantment of the Seas the first time I had been on that ship and the first time on a vision-class ship in a number of years.

And to be honest with you, I was a little worried going into it, but it ended up being not nearly as bad as I thought.

And today, I wanted to share my raw thoughts about Enchantment of the Seas. Here we go.

I had probably been avoiding Enchantment of the Seas for many years. It's interesting. If you

remember the early episodes of this podcast, we had Michael Poulon, who would come on here and tell me all about how great enchantment was. And I primarily dismissed it. I don't have a problem with the Chapman of the Seas. I just didn't really think it was a great thing for me personally. And having done Rhapsody of the Seas a number of years ago, I kind of thought maybe I just wasn't a vision class ship kind of guy.

But I was persuaded to go on Enchantment of the Seas on a four-night cruise out of Tampa to Cosm, Mexico,

when one of my neighbors was going on the ship and invited me to sail.

And I was kind of intrigued by it.

And, you know, initially I was worried because, like many of you, I read a lot of these reviews. Ininvertently, I don't go looking for reviews, but I'll be on Reddit.

I'll be on the Roken blog message boards.

I'll be on Facebook.

I will see, inevitably, people who go in there and, you know, rant about how they just

didn't like Enchantment of the Sears.

There's actually a lot of reviews.

I feel like certain ships get more negative reviews,

and enchantment's probably up there. And that in and of itself is something I've talked about

here on this podcast, what you shouldn't do. And to my credit, I actually went on the ship. I didn't

say, no, I'm not going to go. But it did give me some hesitation. It did give me some pause

going into it. The thing was in the weeks
