What is the spiritual awakening?

More people are coming to Christ today than ever before in Christian history.

According to David Barrett's authoritative World Christian Encyclopedia,

82,000 conversions occur every day.

Other scholars believe the number is much higher. One estimates that a million people a week

are converting to Christianity. More Muslims have come to Christ in the last 15 years than in

the previous 15 centuries.

Many have seen visions and dreams of Jesus and are responding to him in faith.

One third to one half of the South Korean population is evangelical.

By 2025, one half of Brazil's population will be evangelical.

When I was in Beijing a few years ago, I was told that 100,000 people come to Christ every

day in the People's Republic of China.

I have been to Cuba eight times, and I am constantly amazed by the spiritual movement happening there.

Scholars estimate that a million Cubans have come to Christ in the last ten years.

A spiritual revival changes people.
