Actor, writer, and producer Danny Strong got himself out of that mess by creating the Juggernaut hit Empire.

Strong tells us about a career that has seen him go from appearing on the Gilmore Girls to writing the award-winning HBO films,

recount and game change, to creating a TV melodrama that's Broken Ratings Records.

Hi there.

So, Matt, the Jinks.

The Jinks has been so much in the news this past week.

And this is, of course, the HBO series about Robert Durst, this wealthy heir who is suspected of three different killings at various times.

One of his wives who vanished, a friend of his who was going to talk to authorities about him and his wife, who ended up dead.

This is some years ago shot and killed.

And a guy in Galveston, Texas, who he admitted that he killed and dismembered, Matt,

but he said that was self-defense and that worked for him.
