Like once you like found out you lost.

Like I was sitting there in the ceremony, like, okay, quickly.

So I lost the Emmy and we lost to Alex Edelman and I believe

Ira you can agree with me we jinxed ourselves by having him on the show I mean what

was what were we thinking just having the competition right in my midst it's like

witchcraft or something. But anyway,

me and the writing team for the Oscars, we lost the variety special writing Emmy and I

have to tell you something, we'll get into the Emmys, the entire episode is

about the Emmys today.

When you lose at a ceremony like that, your brain does not shift back to I'm just at an award show

and can enjoy it. Like I can't believe that entire audience just sits there and is like,

well now comes the time when I root for hacks,

like just I don't have that philanthropic a brain.

Yeah.

What's it like sitting there waiting for your category.

Well, I'll say this.

I don't know why we had this insight.

We knew what time it would be on.
